Hmm, so it's an edgy revenge story with some fun facial expressions.
No high expectations for any quality content, so I probs shouldn't continue it, but the funny faces let me stay I guess

Liter-- this is a comic book. In the first place, books-- comic or otherwise-- are what you make of them.

At least, this one seems to have good pathos, and art to carry that pathos. Might be worth sticking around.
Oh, go away with this quality is subjective drivel, put it in the trash can and then return. Even on the site we have actual high quality manga, so don't even bother pretending the medium is just for bargain box content.
I see an edgy story that takes itself a bit too seriously with it's misery porn moments, but it has fun expressions. Probs will have a tonal clash because the author tries to hard later on and it is already a bit over the place at the moment, but we'll see.

Oh, go away with this quality is subjective drivel,
Art, as a means of communication of ideas, is inherently subjective. The import one may get from a work isn't guaranteed to be the same from person to person, and may still differ from the intentions of its creator. How reasonable such variation (and discrepancy) is, depends on the work and the people observing it. You can't get past this reality.

People that harp on "objectivity" when describing their thoughts on comics have no security in their own opinions, so they latch them on to the concept of "objectivity" so they can believe that they're unassailable. Such people don't even understand art in general, which is why they talk like there's some formula to making a good work that some people somehow deliberately don't take-- even as they don't consciously think like that.

That doesn't mean that some opinions about a work can't be better argued than other opinions, and therefore be taken more seriously on account of having more substance. But if you don't recognize that any praise or criticism of a work is invariably you explaining the thesis "I do (not) like this and I think you should agree with me", you actively risk talking in ways that make no sense to the people around you. "Subjectivity" does not mean that every opinion is equally rational.

At any rate, my larger problem with your comment is its out-of-place pretentiousness-- you're talking about "literature" when we're reading comics. There's in fact such a thing as a comic with substance, but be honest enough to recognize the aisle you're in.

Art, as a means of communication of ideas, is inherently subjective. . . . blah blah blah
While you're right that art is inherently subjective, there's little substance to your entire rambling screed. Putting a dividing line between the merit of comic books and literature is daft and far more pretentious than someone claiming there is some measure of objectivity to art, as is responding to a criticism with "books are what you make of them."

She let him live but I wonder what that means. Is he a sexual outlet for her guards now? One can only hope.

Nearly all of my comment is about how art is at least mostly subjective (in response to a comment that preemptively attacks the archetypal "quality is subjective" statement without further qualification).

Putting a dividing line between the merit of comic books and literature is daft and far more pretentious than someone claiming there is some measure of objectivity to art,
1) I'm not putting a dividing line between the merit of the two, I'm distinguishing the two because conflating them comes off as overcompensation. Comic books can barely be considered "literature", and a comic book can easily be straightforwardly not literature.

2) He's not claiming there's some measure of objectivity to art-- I'm the one that implies that in my previous comment. He attacks the archetypal "quality is subjective" phrase with no qualification.

Just because it isn't direct power wanking doesn't exactly make it high quality literature.
Why did you immediately assume it gonna be bad and low quality because it is revenge? God forbid we have great revenge story in the past. Like what happened to story like hamlet.
It's not even edgy. The MC doesn't even go out and act like the whole world is against her, in fact, this story is more about liberation than edgy revenge. She try to salvage the remnant of her empire and her people, ffs
