My poor boy is beyond mentally damaged. It's great that he's breaking free from his mother's grasp but I'm scared that when she gets him back, she'll get him into an ever harder cocoon to break out of. I can see him always going back to his mother because tho I hate to admit it she's right about his father, he cares about his sister and her kid, but doesn't even give a damn about the mental strain his own kid has been put under. Unless he's able to get closer to his crush and friends again, he will run back into his mother's arms for comfort.
