According to this Vol 1 release interview, yes.It feels like the author themself has close friends who love to drink. Because the way they writes Kikuri's interactions with her friends is incredibly realistic lmao.
And so the author is pretty much Shima.According to this Vol 1 release interview, yes.
He's the one most sober among all her friends and usually be the one that take care of their drunkness, and that because Kumicho himself can't stand much alcohol to be drunk with.
So, all this time the main author avatar was Shima? And so the author is pretty much Shima.
Makes me wonder how much Shima’s stress relief can be associated with the author’s.
Isn't author a woman?According to this Vol 1 release interview, yes.

Kumicho is a man I think (not sure on that), Hamazi is a woman, yes.Isn't author a woman?
I feel like the standard manga format instead of 4-koma helps a lot with telling a story that doesn't have to rely on gags too much, it's not like 4-koma hadn't dealt with serious plots from time to time but the format itself is built around putting a joke every 4 panels so it's not like so dealing with less funny topics, even without any drama, becomes harder.I'm starting to love this spin-off more than the main manga. Hiroi (and other chars) is painfully relatable sometimes.
