This manga is an anomaly. I hate reading manga with overused tropes used in overplayed scenarios (which this chapter is chock full of), yet I'm enchanted by the character designs and its charm to the point I'm willing to look past the meh aspects. It's like I feel bad giving this a 7 but 8 is way too high for me.
