While i do want a yuri ending, i am still happy with this ending. The only thing this manga lacked is the "first period" chapter, but i guess Mizuki is still hasn't fully transformed into girl yet in the whole run and only get her first period a month after the ending... Really, it missed a huge opportunity to make drama/comedy arc centered on his first period...

I have a lot of fun reading this manga. The plot is simple, yet impactful. (To me.) Especially with each of Suzushiro Mizuki's character development. The ending is good, although a bit boring, it is netter this way. (I don't want a bad ending.) Everything about this Manga is lovely and gets me addicted reading it. (I finished it in 2 days.) One thing i hate about this Manga is that it very disappointingly doesn't have enough side story. I want more of those side story, i want to see how much further Mizuki's life is. Like, will she gets married? How will she looked like after marriage? (Remember how i said the plot is impactful to me? Yeah, i now desperately want more side story, although it would never happen. I would do anything to get it. I would even kill to get even a slight taste of more side story. This Manga have made me realized a side of me i never knew existed.)
Edit: I have found a doujinshi of Boku Girl right under my coment. (Literally.) It seems like god heard my desperate plea and grant me my wish. Now, off i go for it!

Boku Girl is definitely a classic gender swap Manga, but it's not without it's faults they include:-
A protaganist that can't make their mind up.
Lots of boring (or perverted) side characters.
Way too many filler chapters.
Comedy that misses as much as it connects.

Having said that I enjoyed it a lot and that's not just because I liked the ending. In fact the story is strongest at the start, loses it's way in the middle and just about gets back on track for the finish. The two main characters Mizuki and Takeru are childhood friends and the story is about how that changes. Of the two secondary characters Fujiwara is the MC's crush and Loki is the antagonist, the latter is the more interesting of the two. My favorite character was Thor although his appearance is extremely brief.

If you decide to read this put aside your prejudice and be prepared for a wild ride.
