1. the white slimes in their world were abused for money since they can work for free and humans in that world take the money for themselves, and
2. It's because of the Japanese morals. If Shizuku works at the restaurant, Tooru would think he's being lazy and feel sorry for it. It's quite different between Western to Eastern morals. If it isn't #2, I don't know what is

Okay first of all i just notice (cause im dumb af) Shizuku (The white slime) can enter the outside world??? then is it also possible for Ria? (The female knight)
and second i don't think its japanese morals bro, its more like the white slime could get busted on how good the white slime is performing and could cause trouble for both of them for realizing someone is impersonating our mc
