including weaponized misunderstanding.Damn, anything can be a skill in Japan.
I think it goes beyond Miyuki being extra gentle with Mary, and more to Brother being purposefully vindictive toward Sorata.
But, another tally on the "yeah, it's best if Miyuki and I part ways" column for our ML. Doesn't matter that his comrade in Kyoto tried to set the record straight--Sorata really does just hear everything Miyuki says in a negative light, now.
I think it's a five day trip? And we should be on day two, now. So I suspect that if this series is ending either at the end of this excursion of theirs or shortly afterward, I think the climax of the narrative will be the final night when everything comes to a head.
Continuing past their stint in Kyoto would necessitate a huge shift between them regardless, as the Brother's ultimatum for Sorata involves Miyuki abandoning Tokyo/Sorata. So not having that Big Confrontation while they're physically here just wouldn't make sense.
So even if the series doesn't end there (and I mean...most romcoms end upon the Big Confession, and the equivalent of this story is Miyuki's actual feelings finally being made clear to Sorata), their entire relationship will be changed by the time they leave Kyoto, one way or another.
Thanks for the TL
Bet you he gets easily forgiven after saying he just wanted what was best for his little sister.Big bro really did a serious number on their relationship and Miyuki doesn't even realize how bad it is. From Sorata's pov and what he's been beaten over the head with, his "misunderstandings" really do make good sense.
Now it'd be amazingly satisfying to see Miyuki crash out after finding out just how bad their relationship has been sabotaged. They way its going, author is building up for something good soon at the end of this trip. I hope its Miyuki pulling out the ring on a necklace she always keeps nearby and proving she wants it for herself
Getting increasingly frustrated with every character in this manga. Sorata is a doomer doormat, Miyuki refuses to clear up a single misunderstanding, the brother is now disrespectful AND abusive, and the mom acts nice while allowing her family to torment this poor, stupid boy. He needs a real adult in his life.
At least he has his moviestar friend, who is consistently turning out to be kind of a bro.Getting increasingly frustrated with every character in this manga. From what I understand, Miyuki is oblivious about the misunderstanding unless Sorata tells her about it.Getting increasingly frustrated with every character in this manga.
