Aww, Senpai. I was the same in university. I just wanted it to be better than high school and took the opportunity to do a bunch of extracurriculars, volunteer stuff, on campus jobs, and classes. I definitely did too much, but I'm really glad looking back. Just trying things out helped me get closer to finding and growing into myself.

Yup! Japanese culture is VERY indirect. Being direct with stuff like that is considered rude. A lot of beating around the bush and reading the mood.
