I think it's pretty well established they're older just from how they look. Idk about the manga specifically but in the anime the dad definitely looked 60

I like how you can pick up from all the little details that Sanae and Yuki likely had a very difficult engagement, probably due to the extreme differences in class.

This definitely feels like Norio planting the seeds for an expanded cast to keep the story going and the final note saying there's only 3 months left of middle school makes it seem like we're going to learn if High School Bokuyaba will be a thing or not.
