This is a tricky area to broach as it's a little kid we are dealing with. The kid's only place of security (their home) is apparently compromised with bad parenting. And with little kids, dealing with situations beyond their comprehension, relating to anything similar may be a way to take the edge off of the pain they cannot comprehend, process, nor control. Yes, it sucks that she's basically projecting and basically (unintentionally) gaslighting our poor little half demon girl. But honestly, this looks like a cry for help. Kid needs a hug and a friend to hang out with to escape a part of their life that is miserable.
