Well, it's nice to know that the experimental medicine he drank..."trialed" was basically traditional medicine. If it was something chemical and advanced, it could have done some damage to him. Remember, there is a very thin line between medicine and poison.

Come on! Giving us a flashback from the perspective of the dead brother! You can’t just casually do that to me!

I love this Author's writing! For one the consistency with previously mentioned beats shown in this chapter are cool (Pilvi having something to do with the hospital, Fuwa and Suzukaze being together in the hospital, the flashback being the moment before Suzukaze becomes the trialing prince), but also the way that they tie together character's actions within a single chapter (Fuwa using the phrase "the person I like" becoming part of Takumi's wish, tying into the title of the manga). There's just this great feeling of interconnectedness both at a macro scale (across chapters) and at a micro scale (within a chapter).

Everything just feels so intentional despite the narrative being formed around chance encounters. It's a really nice breath of fresh air relative to manga where... the plot feels like a lot of "and then this happened and then this happened", but this one really feels like a lot of "therefore this happened".

Another consistency: Miya mentioned recently that her personality as a child was vastly different, until she started mimicking her sister whose default state is just like what Miya is now. Sure enough, Miya here is bright, cheerful and friendly even toward total strangers, nothing like the terminally shy and reflexively defensive girl she's become.

So we really went from a story with an actually interesting love triangle to a generic harem... ffs why?
