She's the first person to (effectively) outright tell Sora, right? I'm not misremembering, I don't think.
No clue what happens now.
Her recalling Miya's face, but also her resolve, was a neat little tie-in, though. Asahi's been hiding from a lot, since she's in her final year and will be leaving the group in general (at least in a big way) sooner than later.
Taking the time to find courage in her heart and just go for it fits the theme of the chapter and the ongoing bit of storyline between the three (and more) of them.
Pretty good storycraft, I must say.
