So this confirms it then, connecting with Mina really does affect the default A.I. beyond it's normal capabilities. So much so that that a partially broken robot like Mamoru can still advance in knowledge a full year within a few minutes. That's...highly terrifying. Adorable, but terrifying.
Also whoever thought of that Ad running only when the owner is nearby is both a genius and a lawsuit magnet because there's no way in heck that any Consumer Rights Agency would let that happen, considering the robots are Artificially Intelligent and may decide to clean on their own while the owner is away (the lady at the movie even warned him about bots doing things of their own accord). The only possible explanation is CAPITALISM.
