Ya'll acting like this should just be chapter after chapter of the robot and the dude in one room never meeting or developing other characters is fucking absolutely wild to me.

I agree the series isn't perfect, but yeesh. Feels like I'm on one of those anime review sites. Feels reactionarily pretentious.

This manga is named "My wife has no emotions" and not "My wife is a robot" because apparently Mina is the only robot in this manga that has no emotions and is unpleasant. Man, has author lost the idea of what this manga is.

That or maybe the author wanted to make this a manga about more than a single thing.

I was wondering when STALKER would finally drop it, I'm surprised he continued for this long considering he only started translating it because it was basically Senko but with a robot.

If that's true well yea, no wonder then. They should have picked up long ago that this was a bit beyond your standard cohabitation romcom. They did a good job on the TL afaict tho

wow western fans are vocal about the new chapter and they are not happy
Which new chapter, this one or the next one that's already been out in Japan for a couple of weeks (which I'm personally really looking forward to reading a translation of because the Chuunibyou robot (or cyborg?) kid looks fun and we get to see some priceless Erisu expressions)?

Sincerely i started to like this manga more the moment it started to question things about robots and i thought that the robot club was a good thing, and no i dont think that the author has run out of ideas, they probably just dont want their manga to be another generic sol, and thats a good thing in my book.

I actually like the club chapters. I didn't like the robot girl who hates robots but it was interesting to see another pov considering a good part of the beginning was super pro robot.
I'm still looking forward to the kid's development, and I haven't felt dissatisfied with the progress. Thank you STALKER for the scans up till now despite your grievances, and thank you Ecchi No Doujinshi Scans if you guys truly want to take up the mantle.

Yeah I truly want to continue this manga since it's one of my beloved that I've been reading for a long while, I will just have to check the raws situation and I'll probably drop a chapter next month?

The robot club is shaping up to be an exploration on the role of humans in a world with advanced robots given that the new members include a malfunctioning robot girl, a girl who thinks robots will make humans lazy and unable to relate with other humans, girl who lives her life through a robot proxy she remotely operates with VR from her bed and a boy who's replaced most of his body with robot parts. And yeah, Erisu being irrationally angry at the cyborg while sitting in her timeout corner is funny..

I was under the impression that the human Shitorari and the robot Shitorari upload their memories to each other daily but the robot Shitorari is autonomous and not directly operated in real time by the human Shitorari? I can't read that much Japanese and it takes me much too long to figure out some of the more complicated kanji just to copy and paste it to Google Translate so I'm really looking forward to reading the translation of Chapter 42, assuming that someone translates it and I don't have to wait a year or two to buy the English language paperback.

I'm also not sure whether the boy in Chapter 41 is a cyborg, as in a human who had some of his body replaced by machine parts, or just a robot who likes looking like a cyborg with the bare metal robot arms, except for one panel where Jiro Sugiura seemingly forgot that both his arms are bare metal and he drew skin and fingernails on one arm.

Bittersweet ch.

Sucks, looks like author san is out of ideas for this series w the past drama happened it wouldve been nice just to read their daily lives as she progresses to understand things but looking at author san cooking a new character it gives of a feeling that another drama is coming.

Thanks scanlator san.
I agree. The dynamic of their daily lives is already great, easily the best part of the manga for me. I mean, there's already so many interesting things to explore, being a robot and human marriage and all.

Of course, adding more characters is expected and necessary as the story moves along, but i don't like when it removes the focus of the main plot too much. The main focus should always be the Takuma/Mina interactions, IMO.

What happened?
I don't think it's this chapter so much as the next chapter, which is another club chapter and the club is very polarizing considering the scope has shifted away somewhat from Mina and Takuma.

Some people don't care for chapters that aren't focused on the main characters, which is a perfectly valid opinion to have.

Personally, although I started reading this manga for the interactions between Mina and Takuma as is also the case for nearly anyone who didn't randomly click on one of the club chapters, I like the club members just as much as Mina and Takuma so I'm fine with the split focus of the manga now even if the ideal situation would probably be to spin the club off into another manga.

welp, rest well, scanlator team. I'm thankful and grateful for your works, and the reason to drop the manga is very valid, lmao.

It's true and it's also true that author started writing this manga with some romcom in mind, it's also also true that he admitted on twitter about running out of ideas for the manga around the time Mina got the height "upgrade".
