lol wtf, these 2 chapters felt rushed is this a sign of the axe or was this always a short run?
Everything after volume 1 feels rushed, what likely happened is that V1 didn't sell great, so the author went with a cliff notes version of the story. That or it really was just intended as a shorter story like that Season of Alabaster manga I read recently.
It doesn't seem like a sudden axing though, because it's not like that manga Kyouhan I TL'd where one chapter they're foreshadowing main girl's death and then the next chapter it's "OHWAITEVERYTHINGISFINEKTHXBYE" end of manga at V2.
Or another example, if you're familiar with the author of Killing Bites, all of his failed manga projects sorta just don't get an ending whenever they get axed.
