oh, truly?Next chapter will be the last one.
Communication is anathema to narrative tension in numerous cases involving secrets and/or misunderstandings - it's so much easier to ramp up plot stress by removing the option for actual dialogue between characters, because when they do get a chance to talk things out, it's almost unreasonable to expect things to not be solved.Comes here to post that it feels like the series is about to end, only to see confirmation of such.
Yeah, for how the series built up the tension, this chapter feels like it let all of that go unceremoniously. I was curious where the series could go to really make me feel even more stressed out (positive). It has strong Axe-kun vibes, but at least it is tying up the conflicts in a somewhat believable and understandable, albeit rushed, manner.
It's crazy how people having a conversation annihilates conflict and confusion, cutting right to the issues that need to be faced. I almost prefer this then having Remu being manipulated by Niji to do who-knows-what.
Makes me hope/wish this went longer than one more chapter, because I would love to see her develop and grow past her current problems and hangups and become a healthier version of who she is.Ahh, it wasn't really seeing Niji's homelife, or the bullying at school that made me crack and feel sympathy for her. It was this panel that did it:

The poor girl just wants to feel loved, because no one in her life has ever made her feel it before. But precisely because of that, she also doesn't know how to get what she wants, and is only pushing away the people closest to her.
Yeah, chapter 12 and 13 were clearly setting up a Niji arc for volume 3. Was really looking forward to it, as she had the most room for growth. Very sad that we had to swerve into an axe ending instead.Makes me hope/wish this went longer than one more chapter, because I would love to see her develop and grow past her current problems and hangups and become a healthier version of who she is.
Being a writer pining for the Perfect Love Story is absolutely not problematic. The issue rests in her trying to manipulate & coerce her love story out of Remu in a one-sided manner. She's got her hopes and dreams and fantasies and wishes, but as you said - is pushing away the one she wants, by virtue of having no basis in what a healthy, good relationship looks like.
She can only rely on her words and her daydreams, and trying to force those into reality. And it would be great to see a more dedicated chunk of narrative serving to show her where she's erred, and the process of her growing through it and coming out better and with a healthy version of what she wants on the other side.
Did the series get axed?? This chapter looked like it.. We focused on Remu & Asuka most of the time, but now that the series is ending, does that mean that Meguru will be the one Asuki settles down with? I feel that route would be consistent with Azuki’s character progression throughout the series. Remu finalizing her issues with Niji should also wrap up their baggage as well..Next chapter will be the last one.
What was the other one?My goat Usui Shio got both her manga axed![]()
Well, I heard someone was getting an axe, but whether Niji uses it on Azuki, Remu, or herself is up in the air.Niji's offing herself after hearing what Remu has to say isn't she...
She had a third manga (not yuri) that also ended last month,My goat Usui Shio got both her manga axed![]()
