I actually don't feel bad about this, well a little it took him a while an being burned to near death to turn a new leaf, lets see if Tobio can improve himself or if this will break him.

I felt the same way but rereading this now, he and Tobio are actually friends. Maru, Isamu and Paisen aren't. Ishihashi is. Like they understand each other. They're not using each other for selfish reason. Sad thing is, the only reason they're friend is because Tobio tried to kill him. And now he's actually dead. I don't think that was implied at all. Instead, I felt like the new guy taking over made things worse than Ichihashi and even he run off like a bitch, when it seemed like somebody died.

Lol, I don't remember the reason why I read this manga in the first place, (I think it was because I thought the art style was similar to Furuya Minoru and I loved reading their stories?)
