It also helps that he'd suffered mortal wounds saving the day and she reawakened her magic to save him, effectively returning the favor and making them even.

This story really, REALLY makes me wish I had my own damaged goods elf to help recover...

There are damaged women who need love. Wherever you are strong, get stronger for her. Find the woman with a hole that your strengths can patch up. And then cherish her no matter what.

Because even if she doesn't have enough to make up for all of your weaknesses, being there for each other at all will be so healing.
