We don't know. It seems they were busy last month and just came back on schedule for their other projects. All we knew is the current scanlation group already have the raws for volume 3, and possibly volume 4 as well. But if you don't mind reading the LN, the story is way far ahead of the manga. Even the jp raws is still adapting volume 3 LN, while YenPress have translated 5 volumes of the LN.

In page 11 Ch 16 the novel translated tomozaki's statement to "No, I win in Atafami" which I think is a lot cooler. Mistaken translation by someone?

This isn't too interesting and can feel tiresome to read. However, unlike many among the sea of trashy manga from incestuous smut to brainless power fantasy, this one has tangible character development and plot progression. It's a bit quick on the turnaround, and has its cringe, yet it still delivers reality to people needing it. I had a lasting impression of this, though that doesn't mean I will remember much.

Well as far as I know, the characters are cringe, but maybe it's cringe cause I see kind of see myself in the mc (well minus the pretty women part). idk maybe some of you do too and that's why your cringing on it. The show in general is like a rollercoaster. you don't know what to feel. Do you feel happy? Do you feel fear cause of cringe? Do you feel sick?, but there's one thing that supports the show that makes me wanna read it more. the thing that's really hard to find in a lot of anime's. and that's good plot with a steady character progression, and this show... this show delivers both. It's like Oregairu 2.0. yeah somethin like that.

The big difference between him and 8man, he (Tomozaki) actually puts effort into searching something genuine and his problem solving is simple, communicate the problem properly with other people (not just any self-destructive solution), he's not shy from asking help from other people or afraid of failure, that's why he grows faster than 8man. If there's anything Or*ga*ru can learn, it's that people should communicate their feelings and not talk in riddle, that's how real people talk and solve their problem.

anyone noticed the simulcast translation of atafami is tackfam? I guess it's a contraction of "attack family" or something like that.

edit: spelling

Yeah, I don't know why Funimation translator/editor contracted Attack Family into TackFam when YenPress translation kept it as Atafami, but Funi still use YenPress translation of "Onitada" as "Hexactly" though.

yeah i dunno, i just like the sound of "atafami" better, getting the first syllable of attack cut off is just weird.
Japanese contractions are just weird sometimes, but it makes even less sense when they are retranslated back into english with makeshift contractions.
Tbh, english name contractions should probably either remain with the original japanese name if it doesn't sound weird uncontracted (e.g. don't use something like wapuro for microsoft word) or be left uncontracted in english when it comes to english translationswhen possible because nobody removes syllables, they just remove whole words unless a preexisting contraction exists.
For example, "AttackFam" makes more sense imo. Another example from the "Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6" would be contracted to "Lancer Evo 6" or "Evo 6" but in japanese, it would be the "LanEvo 6" which just sounds weird in english. But at the same time, we still use honorific shit like -senpai / (phonetically sometimes sempai) and -chan because in english it would just be weird to call your friend "Mr. Johnson" all the time. I guess late 1900s-early 2000s fansubbing kinda dictated this standard.
