@swimminginsand: I don't think Karma was weak before she absorbed the Devil. She must have been quite strong to begin with or else why would the Devil come in contact with her in the first place (and the devil simply let a large dragon swallow it, without any fight, doesn't that seem odd).

Also if just absorbing a Devil gave her cosmic level power, then any other being could have achieved the same result as well.

So, i would say that, Karma probabaly had been of equal strength as that Devil (who was already top class in strength), and merging with that Devil gave her cosmic level strength.

As for the Elf Onee-san, she never really fought Karma seriously (neither did Karma did as well).

why are people mad at the new villain? she ate a devil, not a god, a powerful one i bet since she was a regular dragon and now she's basically a god herself:

So the insect king is probably a god level monster just like her since it gave a divine protection to the beetle ( or maybe divine here just means like the most powerful, and not a true indicator of his power), making him fire inmune, which is her main element, but she still took it down, you can see the blessing barrier getting destroyed here so the boss bettle is dead:

It was like when ash used pikachu against geodude and won due to the sheer difference of power, the second bettle is a different one, they look the same but the size is what gives it away, the boss one is fucking huge:

and the second one is just a regular bug, maybe tarantula size:

tl;dr: she wasnt nerfer, and theinsect king may be a god lvl monster too,so he could be dangerous for her, and even if he isnt, he would still be extremely dangerous for everyone else
