Now we know that elf ears can get flipped.

I love this author so much, there's so many little details.
This is such a minor but awesome little throwaway that shows thought was put into the story and setting.

I can just see the author drawing the elf and looking over at his own dog with a messed up ear and thinking "I wonder..."
