Japanese authors seem very committed to this "MC is a completely upstanding gentleman who would never upset social expectations" idea. No matter how absurd a situation they find themselves in. And of course that is used to simply make them even more attractive to other characters, so it just gets worse. Pretty much the only exception is putting them in another world that has different social expectations, in which they can reluctantly go along with it.

And unfortunately if they do break that trope with a character, they go immediately to them being a total scumbag. It's that lack of a middle ground that's the most frustrating.

It feels all around bizarre, considering these points
1) She takes him as a fiancé right away, so not just a boyfriend but someone who is supposed to marry her in 2 years
2) She can read his mind, she should understand the conflict he is going through
3) Is not like they live together, or have been together for long or have actually done things beside hanging out like friends could, this chapter reminds us they haven't even kissed, they are basically friends and not even with benefits.
4) Her problem is pretty much solved and a minor one, he could realistically weight his options and consider that he has other, more willing girls.
She is sweet, but is bizarre that we got a chapter with a date between MC and glasses girl but not with who should be the main girl.
The author is acting like an indecisive Harem MC himself.

I didn't read it, i meant more on the comment about how it's been a year since the manga started.
Checking the webnovel, it took 1.5months to reach this point, so yea, from a reader's standpoint not much has happened. Do note we're at 2 volumes of content (i don't like using chapters since page count of chapters isn't reliable, volume page count is better)

It is good to note that FMC has seen protag's dick, in fact, she is probably giving him blowjobs as is implied that after using his skill, he gets boners (some of the girls even point out they saw his dick in ch.11 p. 14). I do agree that it's not super apparent how the romance is progressing, but I kinda currently understand it as:
protag appreciates FMC because she's a decent person and is a good push for him to try and improve his life despite thinking he couldn't do much with his skill. Whether that sentiment changes or not, i don't know. We know FMC is most likely gonna stay in love with protag because we know that the appraiser skills are found as creepy by most people, but MC immediately accepted her and started trusting in her. Also, rereading ch.11 where a lot of this is exposited (i write my comments out of order), the fiance thing is more of a random throw in idea "dating with the purpose of marriage in mind", rather than some concrete promise. CH.11 just has a lot of info, like the information that we're 1 month into the story

Oh yea, also forgot to check and just realized: the webnovel ended very shortly after the current story beat, so hopefully this means we get new stuff
