What a great chapter where our protag is over her head and cant do it alone thus leading her to learn the power of teamwork and coopera- wait false alarm. She had a flashback power up and nether grew as a person nor learned anything.

Well thanks for the chapter, great scanlation as usual.

The one on the ground, needs someone to get hurt for a training flashback to be able to fight.
The one on the rooftop, can't ambush for shit.

Who gave these rookies the S rank titles? Drop them back down to the bottom rank and watch them be ambushed by goblins.

Ambushes are for rogues. A mage lives or dies by information and knowledge.
Also, the shadow she's fighting is a demon lord or something. Any demon lord worth the title should need at least one flashback to defeat. Otherwise it may as well become an e-rank adventurer.

What are you talking about? Mages need to use ambushes. You said it yourself. They live or die by information and knowledge. What do you think is the best way to use that?

It is back. Wooohoo :meguupog:

Also how long you guys been reading this? SoL is the core theme. We are here for the dad-daughter energy after all. Additionally, it is been proven again and again despite Angie's top S-rank status, she is a greenhorn in fighting; even took her dad to threaten by disowning her to get her head in the game.

But yeah, how long it will take her to see her companions as equal and accept their help, not taking everything on her shoulders. Especially when you haven't get a whole day of sleep. Damn, girl.

She is still 16 after all, beside usually she accompanied by her party member when fighting

For what it's worth, we do know she has some demon-lordy roots so she's sleeping on her power (as boilerplate and uninteresting as that is). Moreover we already know she's good with teamwork from various fights with her usual party. Really if anything she just learned to wise up a little and not play herself off as weak when she isn't, though I'd have preferred if she were a bit more serious here (her mood-shift was a bit odd and abrupt).

Given how relatively well drawn they are you come to expect more from the action sequences, but they're really not core to the series' appeal anyways.
