"he did not raise his fuckin daughter correctly" well to me he did a fuckin great job since she an S rank and still alive, isn't a douchebag, isn't abusing her power, isn't abusing her rank, isn't racist, and genuinely hard working and honest.

I don't think this is as simple as being attacked by a high rank monster and mistaking it for a common monster which messed up his confidence. I'm pretty sure he's knowledgable enough to know the difference. I think it's a combination of factors that cumulates into general PTSD and the fact that going into an actual battle with a lost leg can be suicidal even if he's strong af. I think it's quite possible he lost party members but I don't remember if that was mentioned.

I think it's possible the story might end up with him somehow getting that leg healed but we'll see. Magic can do anything innit

@reu he can still be an S rank you are simply basing it on Angie who is the strongest among the S rank we have seen she can obviously defeat several S rank, based on the fight with the demon king, of course most of the S rank we have seen are retired or old so we don’t know if Angie is still stronger if those guys are in their prime and we can also assume that with her father given if he didn’t lose his leg and kept on improving through adventures.

@reu That is absolute nonsense. Why the hell do you think it's feasible to gauge their true strength in a fight neither of them wants that only lasts a few seconds?

It is reasonable to say that it would be an even match between them, but both of them collapsed almost instantaneously after their first full strike. That's no basis to say one is stronger than the other.

In the LN he says it was super close, but she misinterpreted it as him pretending to be off-guard for the final hit (she mentions that in the manga chapter as well).
