nah it's bs. at home we put tomatoes in the fridge when it's too warm or it's been a couple days and they're perfectly fine.
ofc it only works if they tomatoes were good to begin with. if they had to be transported refrigerated then it's likely they were crappy to begin with because they were picked too early.
Yeah and I never buy those things, I only buy from farm stands I trust to be real farm stands. I know the ways of supermarket tomatoes. I grew up driving by the tomato fields supplying them watching them get piled into the trucks green.
Again, you know not the powers of autism. And I'm a super-taster on top of that so my powers are beyond your mortal comprehension, muahaha.
Anyway, I'm just hypersensitive to texture and stuff so I notice a change in the tomatoes but as you've noted, for a normal sane person, it's not going to be a big enough deal to notice.
