Fight Class 3 has its own massive slate of issues even before it ran into the hiatus
Compared to this? i disagree. On it's own? Sure maybe, obviously I'm not calling it realistic or anything but. It just does what this manga is attempting to do but better, viral hit/how to fight does it even better than that. Loser life was another good one too

the saddest thing about all the promise we're seeing of what might end up in the tankobons is that, while vol 7 is probably coming out soon, these most recent chapters are definitely going to be in vol 8.

Realism isn't what I'm talking about.

FC3 definitely nailed the protagonist goes nuts thing better, but the arc of the manwha was completely bonkers which is why you'd get 2 chapters of boring exposition just before one of the best one-chapter fights I've ever seen (karate girl vs boxer girl). It had a tournament arc where one of the most anticipated fights just didn't happen (because the wrestler girl pulled out) and every Maria fight is a steamroll.
Like, Bouryoku Banzai has had barely any good fights and I'm not even sure if I'd say "FC3 has better fights than BB". Almost every FC3 fight is a steamroll or just an orgy of violence.

How to Fight on the other hand I agree is much, much better, unneccessary season 2 aside. One of the best ever stories about a complete novice starting out, almost Kenichi-esque growth.

I forgot you weren't the other guy, the main complaint there was about how bullshit and tropey the explantion for mc was in this manga and many like it to which is why I recommended fight class 3 which sort of does this better and how to fight which definitely does this concept better.

I'm surprised you remembered the fight with the boxer girl, it wasn't really that notable to me (personally) As for the exposition, I can't really agree if your point is that it was misplaced or unneeded, but if all you thought of it was that it was boring then fair.

I disagree, the most hyped up fight of that arc was Hamin vs Maria, meanwhile the 'build up' with the wrestler girl was her constantly losing confidence as the days went on of her observing Maria and she didn't have any accolades as impressive as Hamin which just added to the lack of hype for their fight
As for Maria, yeah I guess that's kind of the point, she's the strongest character outside of the main characters dad and is the benchmark everyone in the school is aiming for. She and JJT's dad are end game opponents and we're barely at the half way mark of the story

It's nice to see fellow how to fight fans in the wild, and prefer I this over Fight class 3 by a lot in terms of both storytelling and entertainment.
