Well, I'm gonna say it from the start, I disagree with you, but not completely, though it might kinda be true for now, I think it's still too early to expect any kind of development in the characters when the manga's not even reached chapter 25 or so yet. I think it's because most manga's/manhwa's nowadays make the most of the "development" the start of the story, like in regression type stories and all, in which characters experience growth in strength but not much mentally after. I may still be wrong though, maybe the mangaka is gonna mess it all up.I’m just going by what the manga is “trying” to convey, I don’t have any profound essay on violence. That opening sentence was simply a joke setup to dunk on how dead the manga is.
My point is if you’re gonna write a thinly veiled fanservice manga that betrays the theme not even a quarter way in…at least make it fun to read & give the characters more than the personality of a cone?
By the way I may have a good recommendation for you according to what you said: "Fight class 3"I’m just going by what the manga is “trying” to convey, I don’t have any profound essay on violence. That opening sentence was simply a joke setup to dunk on how dead the manga is.

Sorry for the long ass answer btw.I’m just going by what the manga is “trying” to convey, I don’t have any profound essay on violence. That opening sentence was simply a joke setup to dunk on how dead the manga is.

All good man. Love discussing things with ppl. Have been trying to get back into writing anyway so you helped out.Sorry for the long ass answer btw.
Especially in the chap where the girl was fighting the MMA guy. He was actually the more violent one [literally snapping the girl’s neck in half to make sure he didn’t lose]. & the girl somehow survived that, then won through a regular sleeping hold.
You’re right. But the point of his dream was to show that he was never gonna win no matter how much damage he did to her. Meaning he was more violent, but she just has some abnormal level of durability. The logic of the story is broken either way. That didn't happen, it was a hallucination
The hallucination showed that he would of won in a alternate universe where he went all out. She literally brought up the point throughout the fight that he was basically restricted by societal rules and image while she was able to do everything in her power to knock him out. You’re right. And I don’t even have a problem with her winning, just the author insisting on this cringe edgelord violence theme that goes against the reason she won. Just a very cringe read
And you can also just toss a grenade at someone what are they gonna do about itWell the knife just ruined the whole story by allowing weapons. You can just pop everyone you see with guns now it’s so boring and makes mma pointless
This manga doesn’t know what it wants to be, tries to be an erotica, then it tries do be some educational mma manga then it tries to be shounen manga.
Like if you want it to be educational on mixed martial arts don’t then have some completely unrealistic sht happening for the sake of looking cool, a petite woman leading with a flying armbar on a ufc heavyweight champion without any setup and actually working is the dumbest thing ever.
Either just make it a generic fighting manga or a proper fighting manga. Or a erotica is fine to but not a fan of dipping your toes in something and then switching to another
This would be the absolute worst case scenario. All that would amount to is the MMA fighter being right to hold back, & let the girl win bc him being more violent wouldn’t even be worth it. Which just makes the girl’s violence ideology delusional. The fighter letting the girl win would just be the author disproving the main ideology of his own manga & agreeing with the MMA guy.The hallucination showed that he would of won in a alternate universe where he went all out. She literally brought up the point throughout the fight that he was basically restricted by societal rules and image while she was able to do everything in her power to knock him out.
So yes, if the MMA fighter wanted to kill her he could easily do it, but why would he when it risks his chances at his dreams, going to prison, and being seen as a scumbag who slimes out women in a spar
What about a story just being a story? If you're really stuck up on classifying it in single precise genre/theme then you might as well not read any stories at all. Every of the most liked manga's in the world are actually the ones that have large pallets of genres and subjects towards which they extend. You probably were just excited about seeing some sexy sht seeing how much you talk about the erotica part, but then got upset because it was not much of an erotica manga.(Nah just playing with you on this one, but please realize how d*mb what you said was, you might, and have the right to not like the manga, but trying to justify it with shtty arguments such as those...)This manga doesn’t know what it wants to be, tries to be an erotica, then it tries do be some educational mma manga then it tries to be shounen manga.

Btw I'm not saying this manga is good or giving any opinion about it, I'm only commenting your way of thinking. This manga doesn’t know what it wants to be, tries to be an erotica, then it tries do be some educational mma manga then it tries to be shounen manga.
