Remember readers! If you find a talking sword, make sure to determine whether or not you are the MC. If you are, buy it! If not, don't!

Mmm yes the "talking sword in the bad weapons bin" troupe, it's always a good thing to grab the talking sword.

If he can open up his own status window and look at his own stats and skills, how come he never noticed he had gluttony?

Budget Sword Barrel.
Guaranteed source of talking swords.
Sometimes trash is a measure of poor taste and not just poor killing capacity.

@Glomoro
Funny you mention that. The talking sword I always remember from games would be Lilarcor from Baldur's Gate 2. That one was so infamous that there was a mod made for Morrowind to insert it, and to be fair it was a really funny adaptation. Funnily enough I don't remember one in Neverwinter Nights, though I don't think I ever completed Hordes of the Underdark all the way through (I did the main NWN campaign quite a few times, as well as Shadows of Undrentide).
I don't even see that many D&D-based games these days in general, though they might still be sticking to the isometric format since it is easier to make. I don't play a lot of isometric games these days. The last two were Grim Dawn and Tyranny. Very good games by all accounts, though not the sort that lend themselves very well to talking swords.
Can't say as I even looked into talking sword mods for Skyrim (I have been replaying it recently), though now I'm curious.

@The5thSeraph I think there's actually a new Baldur's Gate coming out soon. It's early access on Steam right now, or something like that. Looked like another isometric sort of deal but I think a lot of the other D&D video games in recent years have tried just about anything else you can think of. There's another I remember seeing on Steam, for instance, that's basically like some mobile gacha RPG, so that's probably a nightmare. The strongest contenders for the non-isometric ones are probably Neverwinter and D&D Online. Neither is really super "recent" anymore, but they are still both updating often enough to have something new to do in them every so often.

I hate how fucking trashy the people in that world are. God can he just slaughter them all and be a demon lord or something?

How can a skill that allows you to absorb all the stats from fallen enemies not considered as "a skill that's gifted from god". Complete madness, I'm baffled at least re:monster needed you to eat fallen enemies, this dude just needs to deal a finishing blow wtf is this op shit-_-

@RezaSpotify I’m sure there’s a limit or a weakness, otherwise this would be just another OP mc manga, tho re monster has made the mc kinda op too even tho he has to eat his enemies
