god isn't shady. he's more like the teasing type that enjoys doting on MC and watching her progress. all this author's novels are ultimately fluffy and sweet, nothing bad really happens in her works.

I could have SWORN I've read this exact story before, multiple chapters even.. have I just gone mad?

The age discrepency bothers me. In the first few pages its mentioned that "She's 4 years younger than me, she's barely 14 years old" which should put Hana at 13 or so right? And then MC 17 or so.
But MC is 21 before her body's clock is rewound to 15. Which means in the hospital bed Hana should be 17 years old.

I hope im not misunderstanding things. But the age counting is off. The story seems lovely so far. Thanks for translating the first chapter.

I hope I'm not misunderstanding things. But the age counting is off.

This page states that her sister had been hospitalized for ~4 years, so (back then ages of 13 and 17 ---> present day ages of 17 and 21).
Don't worry, I also missed it on my first read through, only realizing I skimmed past this after I did the math.
