Browser window scrolling up to top when changing page [Fixed]

Has something changed in the last few hours on your end, or is it something that's magically fucked all of a sudden with my browser?
When reading a non-longstrip (edit; apparently it happens in long strip as well for other users) manga, every time I change page the screen scrolls up instead of staying at the botting, keeping the manga in view.
It's really annoying having to scroll down every time I change page.
Reader settings:

Edit; Brave browser.

I've tested it on Firefox, Chrome and Edge on my computer for any manga chapters.

Only add-ons on browser is ublock-origin

So in long strip mode, scrolling to any page using any method such as arrow key, scroll wheel and page bar will force any scrolling to pages not the first or last page to jump back to the first page of the chapter. Did not happen before 4/29/2025. Noticed it at 7pm Eastern Standard Time.

Same problem, on long strip it jumps back on the 1st page, once i scroll past 2nd page, even if i drag through scrollbar it's just jump back on top. Firefox.

Yeah same here. I thought it was a chrome thing so I switched to a brave browser and same thing was happening.

Same here in Brave browser. This isn't the first time I've seen this happen.

Yeah it happens, is not only for longstrip mode and is not tied for a specific browser, single pages mode start to happen after the 3rd page, but it doesn't happen if you use the "Page URL and title won't update" in the settings, I wasn't able to notice it at first until I checked in incognito

Same. Opera, Chrome, Firefox, and Brave all have the same problem. Really annoying and forces me to use single page to be able to read anything at all.

Same problem, on Chrome and whenever I scroll on long strip, it just snap back top page

I was reading a manga and the tab reloaded on its own as well as another MangaDex tab I had open. After that Long Strip will returns to the top after it scrolls down enough, usually to the 2nd page. I've tried this with different browsers and devices. Anyone else have the same problem.

I would like to say that I'm having the same problem as well. Tested on both Firefox and Microsoft Edge. Attempting to progress past page 1 on "long strip" format causes the page to jump back to page 1.

The same issue is also present on mobile. I tried Chrome and Firefox on mobile.

yeah, it feels like it was a band aid fix to a different issue where it'd sometimes load in midpage, but that was way less of a problem than completely being unable to progress past page 1 in long strip mode, especially since you could just scroll back up. Even in wide strip mode it jumps back up to the top of the page on every page change. I think it's because its automatically scrolling back up to the top of the page, which changes it to page one in long strip mode. hopefully they revert it soon

The fix has been deployed. Clear your browser's cache and refresh the page, or wait 1 hour for your browser's cache to naturally expire.
