Very nice ending. Not rushed, stayed true to itself. I wish there was one chapter about the gyoza making (but I guess it would have been less-fun since it became a random event, thanks for the joke twist author lol).

i definitely want more romance, but it'll take a long time, so ending it without changing their personalities too much is really good. i dont want it to end with utagawa suddenly goes head over heels for katano

Some commenters are saying this got axed. Is that true? Even though it was short, this still felt like a proper ending that completely fit the tone of the story. As others have also said, it is to the manga's benefit that the author stuck to the comedic light hearted SoL plot instead of going the heavy romance route.

I'd say this sort of comfy relationship where the FMC and MC act more like companions actually makes for a more convincing ship than most cheesy lovey dovey pairings in other manga. Yugami-kun's author handled it perfectly, and I'd say it was done well for this manga too.

I discovered this when the “End” appeared in the main page...it’s good, only lacking maybe a little bit of romance in the end but they’re still doing things at their pace so it’s fine.
Just, they’ll be married by the age of 56 if they go on like this 😂

I think it ended well. But I would've liked a bit more romantic development on the female lead's side tbh.

No gyoza. Trash ending.

Alright, gyoza aside, it was solid. Nothing spectacular but funny most of the time. Liked the first chapters way more than the middle and end. It felt real aimless in the middle.

It's a good ending for the story but not exactly where I wanted it to end.
I would've liked to see how they do couple stuff and what hardships awaits them during and after college but I guess for a manga so light on romance it's alright to end here.

Not sure if they are officially together though. Very enjoyable nonetheless
Thank you for the translation 🙂

perfect ending, no rushing, no axing, just a soft close to a soft manga.

This is exactly what I was looking for to close this story. After his confidence was bolstered by a shying fleeing Utagawa, he got his confession out, and it felt like the good moment it deserved to be. She shares her worries and he easily answers and accepts every one of them. This is plenty progress and closure for me. I’ll miss their idle talk.
