He wanted to continue, but was forced to end early due to his declining health.

JUST IN: Bleach author Tite Kubo's "BURN THE WITCH" will be serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump starting August 24!

The series was first published as a one-shot manga in July 2018. It was previously announced that it would be getting a miniseries weekly serialization as a companion for its upcoming film (expected to premiere this Fall), and it has now been officially confirmed that the new serialization starts in WSJ Issue #38 on August 24. It will have 4 chapters.

Yeah, you heard that right. 4 CHAPTERS ONLY but i guess it's better than being left out as a one-shot only. Plus there is the upcoming movie too so im still greatful, i guess it's true that Tite Kubo didn't want to write a long series anymore.

The manga is so stupid Japanese why did he even decide to make it take place in London. There is nothing British about this other than its setting. Why do they have to keep talking about social rank when that doesn't even matter in western societies(her getting mad at not being called Sempai). They even refer to people seemingly by their last names???? Also Childhood friends is a fleshed out concept in Japan having its own word, but doesn't really exist in the same way in the UK. You can be friends since you were kids or grew up together, but your its word to think someone is close to you because you're childhood friends.

The manga seem like an eh to me now, I still excited for more, all I've read is the one shot. I never liked bleach, but maybe I'll like this. I was just really weird out on why the manga kept trying to say its British and then give me the most Japanse manga ever. Plus the fights don't show any promise if they are all going to end in with a bullet.

@Grappie

1. social rank is actually pretty damn important, yes in Britain. Have you ever heard a British lord talk. It is always down at the peasants. Yes, I am talking about today. Or how about in the military. You always salute your superior (except when walking in hallways).

2. Sempai just means senior. We refer to seniors at school and at work all the time in the west. We just call the seniors, blame viz.

3. Childhood friends are even more important. Unlike Japan, we'll call each other brother and sister. There are plenty of anecdotes of people not knowing who they are actually related to because of this cultural quirk.

4. Balgo's childhood friend got ganked. He dead and not important to the story, so what are you even complaining about?
