I know I'm in for a revenge romp, and that I should get inverse-schadenfreude, but some of the kills don't feel earned. My gripe is that the MC wasn't proactive in getting revenge;

I get he was recovering from his hellish experience on earth, but after some time, shouldn't his trauma response switch to preventative measures, like training, I mean he's already a big dude, lived amongst other big orcs dudes, and even met someone who reminded him of his sister (who died because he was powerless.

I'm not saying he should be trained as an assassin to enact revenge, but something he could've proactively done, other than rely on others to make it more satisfying. I can see now that he's becoming similar to the head bully that caused all of this in the first place.

It was shown in an earlier chapter that the class low diffed the demon lord so there's a massive power gap between those with skills and those without that training can't bridge.

This current fight was a brawl before king of the small pulled a goblin to gank him, and I believe if he had at least casually worked out with the orcs, it would've turned out differently. Then there's that icky feeling of him using his friends (even if its a shared goal) to accomplish his revenge, and that's only gotten his friends killed up till now.

Also, it's everyone around him that are actually getting the revenge, LOL.

Now he's going up against even more powerful people with probably better skills and they are already onto him so they'll be waiting. The element of surprise is gone. At this point I'm just curious to see what the author will pull out of his ass to help the ML to win. I mean, plot armor only seems to apply to him ... and very loosely at that. Waiting to see the other lump drop (you know from the authors bung hole).

Came here to say that author can only take this so far without giving MC some type of fighting ability now that author has chosen to raise the stakes and power levels. I don't understand why MC has yet to try to use one of their jewels or why the goddess if she sees that the "heroes" have become worse than the Demon King, she hasn't done anything about it or at least approached MC seeing that he's started a movement against them and maybe given him some power.

It's impossible to imagine this guy as an assassin. Barbarian maybe, Assassin definitely not.

Has it really? It’s not just his revenge. It’s also the revenge of the other people. Everyone who’s joined him have their own reasons for seeking revenge. He’s not bringing them along for his personal vendetta. Those who join him want to do so because they took are willing to risk everything to kill the heroes who oppressed them.

Have to wonder what is wrong with the goddess. Summoned these guys to save the world, but when they are destroying the world like no difference from the demon king, she just turned a blind eye? At least another series has the goddess try to fix a similar situation.
