@musicfreak12 yes and no. It's evident she has a crush on him, but is an unhealthy one though. Souta's pure, yet vulnerable and too innocent, the perfect recipe a local popular bitch can use to have somebody as her favorite rag doll. Yuri's just his mom, but younger and seen as a role model.
that's why I commented that Haru should go meet Souta already (the scene from the raws where she waits for him at his school). Oh but still, thanks! I was waiting for Chapter 15!
Things are gonna get temporally better for Souta and Haru (not Yuki) though, until the next bombshell either Yuri, Fumi or Shigeo possibly throws at both of them, according to raws.
Haru realizes his poverty and feels bad for taking his little change. Also remembers when she said "no money, no service" to him back then in ch 11 and fears he will never come back...
The next bombshell is...
...either Yuri or Fumi discovering Souta went back to the bridge again (worse in Yuri's case, bc Souta lied to her saying he had to go back to his house or else mommy will chastise him) ... or worse, Haru's stepdad casually discovering her daughter wasn't going to the school library all this time. Btw, their little "street whore & dumb customer" dangerous game should stop and they must be honest with themselves.
Btw, I could read the 15th chapter (LH still hasn't posted it, but i downloaded the entire fkn magazine. Just a little spoiler: Souta did go back to the bridge indeed. It's a nice breather episode between the monsoon of shit Souta has to endure). Btw, there's gonna be no new chapter 'till the end of the next month, and the story is going to resume in the 16th issue.
Ahh so we get to see part of Yuri's facade start to slip even more. That lowkey gaslighting though, especially with the "I forgive you" line because she's basically affirming to him that he was "wrong" (he really wasn't) and that he shouldn't stray from her "guidance" next time. Fumi would be proud of Yuri there as its a textbook move from her playbook. And of course as @Tamerlane pointed out he's not exactly in the right state of mind to think this through logically at all (honestly between him and the Boy's Abyss MC I'm starting to think we should all gather up these poor lads for some good therapy because they need it).
Only reliable adult in the teacher does seem to be putting together the pieces more and more and I feel if our MC is to have a good resolution and be taken out of his toxic home and life situation it'll be with teach's help.
A bit sad that we won't be getting another RAW chapter till lateish July but it means that at this translation pace of 1 chapter per week we'll be caught up to the RAW by then (and then it'll be sad again because then we'd have to switch to a bi-weekly release schedule)
@LordTrollbias the latest RAW chapter felt like a breather between the full monsoon of shit Souta has to endure through. However i felt kind of uneasy after reading it, because it sets a new conflicting point. And it's...
Souta himself. Even though he came into realization Haru ain't bad, he still thinks she is with him bc of the money, when it's not. Haru just wants to genuinely be around with him without money being the intermediate.
Usually, when breather episodes come with a hiatus after its publishing, it's because shit will hit hard the fan when the story resumes, remember that this series is published in the same magazine Chi no Wadachi and Gigant are published, so expect a tornado, a typhoon, a monsoon, a blizzard, a 60's Chile-tier megaearthquake and a 100ft tall tsunami coming altogether towards our misguided MC.
Keep an eye on Yuri, Fumi and Shigeo, but especially into the first two.
Bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks
Lick on these nuts and suck the dick
Get the fuck out after you're done
And I hop in my ride to make a quick run
