I was wondering, when scoring points to become a regular, are followers (excluding alts) something that should add any points? I still remember when I decided to visit the Lounge for the first time that some individuals like @Robinisback had a good amount of them, even if this is not some normie site. Perhaps my followers are actually government spies (each one from a different country) that are collecting compromising data, such as my usual ramblings? More importantly, have you betrayed me @BakedBanana ?!

I enjoy NFL haha, but the number of commercial breaks in American sports is infuriating.

I heard that since japanese teams and players became as good (or better) as americans ones, baseball became less popular in the USA lol.

I don't know. It's true that baseball is declining, and the number of American-born players in the MLB has decreased over the years. However, you could argue that the best players in the NBA are foreigners, and the league seems to be doing just fine.

Baseball became less popular because the games kept getting longer with all the changes to how pitching was managed and executed, and because newer generations of viewers partly didn't want to watch the longer games and partly just didn't want to watch baseball at all. Some of the length issue has been phased out with recent rule changes.

I don't think Japanese players have anything to do with it. Ohtani is an absolute monster, and I will stop what I'm doing to watch him take an at-bat.

Honestly, the only sport game that got me interested is that NBA game with The Lakers and that new york team. I lost interest when the Lakers went into 4th quarter while losing. My local NFL team is a fucking BITCH though. I still remember the 2022 incident...
