Rozen Maiden was my entry drug into anime, btw.
It was the first one I consciously watched as such, even if Vickie the Viking, Maya the Honeybee and Heidi were Anime by virtue of our ZDF and the ORF producing them in japan. I watched them in preschool and only found out that fact later.
But rozen Maiden was a conscious decision, as I was curious about the genre. I still have the dvd's of the S1 pack.
