What's your favourite kind of medieval weapon? And what about it is that you find cool??

I'll go first!! My favourite weapon is Kusarigama, because it looks so cool!! While it's not exactly a war weapon like a sword or bow, it has it's own cool usage!!!

I like halberds and bows. Halberd because I think they'll look cool if a game decides to implement them correctly, and bows because I like using them. When I use bows, I love the sensation of my whole back engaged.

A Greatsword, what does a guy need if not a sword which would just fuck up their back? I have 99 problems and having a Greatsword would solve 30 of them.

as much as I like bows, halberds, poleaxes, and greatswords,
my all-time favorite will always be the longsword. ૮^ᆺ^ა

I understand why someone might like something else, it's not a very flashy or unique weapon,
but to me, the simplicity, elegance and effectiveness of the longsword makes it beautiful. ૮^ᆺ^ა

I think it's been my favorite ever since i saw learned of it, even before i knew its name ૮˶'ᆺ'˶ა
