I've seen everything up to the end of starlight crusaders. What I remember of it is another matter. All I wanted to know is which plot beat the reference belongs to.

If you mean when they opened the web so you could read manga but before anyone could add anything new, then advanced search was barely working and user preferences were skin and bones. It's already been some time and even if I entered just to read pending chapters I recall that they reintroduced everything progressively and I'm not even sure if you could log in during the first month.

Some of them are from popular authors like Aldehyde or Ixy, many of the authors I like have a strong fingerprint in their works and at the same time capture the allure of the original characters so it's not hard for you to already have some. For instance, yesterday I realised that the favourite kitsune picture of @athayanezant is one of those I have saved from Sakura Ani, which of course are kemonomimi only:

Hello, I assume a decent number of people check this thread so I was hoping I could get some help finding a manga I’d read a bit in the past. My vague description is as follows:

It’s an isekai manga (surprising I’m sure) with a male MC. He winds up as a young boy in a forest and quickly encounters a sapient chimera/eagle headed thing (can’t remember). I think the chimera introduces him to a group of other child orphans that it was taking care of. MC takes them to an abandoned village as their leader and works on improving their lifestyle. Beyond this I can’t remember much; I think their group soon gets involved diplomatically with the nations bordering their forest and begin to sell them goods like wine.

This is as all I can recall and I think it only covers the beginning of the first arc. Any help identifying this manga would be greatly appreciated.

People usually get the answer they seek when they post in this sub-forum I'm linking, even if we talk here it's going to pass unnoticed by people who read that kind of series. There you can check many posts asking for a series that got answered, including a good amount of isekais.
