Guys we're you reincarnated on fantasy world what occupation or job would you choose?

I would like to be a knight, might be generic can't deny its COOL.

It's cool, but it goes hand to hand with a harsh training, a boring military life, and life in a casern, and so on. Did you think of it ? Are you sure you want that ?

Personaly : scientist, because i love science. But if it's a medieval-like isekai where government is not really developped and scientists don't really exist, i'm screwed, i don't know. Maybe magician, because that's the closest thing to a scientist/engineer. Also, scientists/engineer can't shoot fireballs.

I shudder just by thinking what would happen if with this conversation derail it'd become a generic isekai manga thread. Using as reference the greatest isekai titles out there, something along the lines of "reincarned as the loli princess chair", "... thermal bath of the king's harem", "... as some underwear from the princess", etc. I am already a wizard IRL, so in a fantasy world I'd probably be the magic ruler of a country that turns it into a yuritopia (and eventually all the world, this would end wars and famine to name some but few).

It's for anything, it doesn't matter the genre or the gender. That means someone is at least 30th and virgin according to the otaku Internet legends, and for those who get bored they make up other names like sage (by the 40s) and similar every ten years, but it's kind of nonsense in Western Fantasy terms.

P.S. Job is something you cannot escape, so if you go to another place, do yourself a favor and don't be a slave just because they offer you a shiny sword or their hot daughter.

You will always find value on things that exist for a long time, like ancient wisdom. You need to count though to realize the value.
