Do people actually watch anime manga content creator?

I feel like that's stupid as hell for listening other people opinion of a show and topic. If you watch it, it's gonna ruin your experience reading manga or anime honestly.

Watching some creator for rec is fine but what are you doing in your life listening other people what to watch and what good?

Tbh I trust more of people in forum for anime and manga more than content creator, cuz when I ask you guys the answer is genuine not money driven or anything

I watch anime/manga content creators, only when i've finished a anime/manga i've loved and want to know what people think about. But i hate the very common 15-30 minutes long analysis of something that most often don't deserve it. Sure, hours long analysis for Serial Experiment Lain is fine, but not for your favorite Fantasy/shonen/shojo/yuri or whatever.

For recommendations, YT videos are usefull when you want to discover old stuff. For the new stuff, go on the front page of crunchyroll/HiDive/Netflix and you'll find what you want. But for retro stuff, YT channels are a pretty usefull ressource. BTW, I recommend the YT channel of KaiserBeamz for recommendation of old stuff. It's the only one i'm watching (infrequently), with a small french yuri manga channel (on hiatus for now).

little reminder, if you guys still have grandparents, go help them clean their attics.
I did so, again and I found some old books that are over 100 years old, as well as some limited edition 3000 prints book.
(I plan on reading it, then finding someone who will want it)

If anything, I'd find that at my great-grandmother's place

We found some pretty crazy stuff after my Grandmother passed, but pretty much all the stuff like that, she got rid a long time ago....... or it got stolen by some scumbag lowlifes that I refuse to admit I'm related to.

We at least got my Grandfathers military medals and that though.

It's stupid how when new shounen anime that catch people attention out people immediately start making essay as if the anime something deep.

It's because people want popular culture to be recognized as something serious and deep, not just "basic" entertainement. So they use the basic of litterary analysis : character developement, lore, scenario, tropes and stuff like that. But in the real world, basic entertainement is not deep on those points.

A better analysis would be to show that it's something really difficult to do well. Basic stuff need a strong execution to work. Plenty of small details must be taken care of to make something good. But i've never see a video about that.
