Recently I got curious to know what the background image on author profiles was so I did some digging and found out that it's apparently concept art of the island Thavnair for Final Fantasy XIV. Very nice.

Why was that chosen? Is one of the mods big fan of Final Fantasy?

I feel like it'll be cooler if we can see a cut of panel from their work for author background image, adding that bonus aura.

No idea. Probably just a default image that would be replaced sooner or later once the developers finish the main site soon™. Because I remember in V3 you could at least have a custom banner for your group wall so it would probably be like that.

Speaking of groups, another fun fact: Locked group pages will show 0 messages and you will not be able to open the discussion, but they are still there usually. Anyone remember SSSSS in V3? That was a crazy group lol.
