Is he an idiot who got himself banned? Yes.

Yeah, in light of certain recent events, it's worth remembering that regardless of how stupidly someone may behave here on the forums, they're still a human being, and (with a very few exceptions in my book, for what that's worth) should be allowed to move on with their lives and change for the better.

To be fair, MSML can't do that here since he caught the perma-ban, but I do sincerely hope he gets whatever help he needs, and is able to start taking responsibility for his own actions and growing as a result of that. Someplace else.

I 100% get how that's annoying to you. I rarely participate and saying my own thoughts about things because of that.
It's just that MSML practically reminds me of what I used to be a few years ago. There are some things that I'll never forgive myself for, but I'd rather not say it.

It's just that MSML practically reminds me of what I used to be a few years ago. There are some things that I'll never forgive myself for, but I'd rather not say it.

Ironically, MSML being in many of the pitfalls I was in at his age made me more lenient on his behaviour after his first ban.
I was pretty stupid once, but I managed to grow up and recognize that.

No you don't. Being a punching bag does not in fact solve anything. Acknowledge your own flaws, think about how to not repeat them and promise to yourself that you will be better in the future if you really regret it.

but I'm fine though The punching bag thingy was a weird joke and I'm really sorry it didn't land! I personally see myself as some expendable jester so I barely care about the joke I make so sorry

There's nothing wrong with staying away from something that is causing you to have negative or harmful emotions. I joke about it, but stepping away from the MD forums for a year or two starting in 2020 was a good decision. It was making me uncharacteristically angry.
