went to some mall over at Puchong

over in the north court area, a school had a whole "S.T.E.A.M. Exhibition" thingy. they had performances, a lucky draw, showcased some things their students made, and even a drone zone where you could fly a drone through an obstacle course for 5 minutes.

2 performances were some girls (and 1 dude in the corner, rip) dancing to k-pop songs.

outside of that, they also held demonstrations of some science thingamajigs, such as elephant toothpaste,

a "plasma cannon" (which was actually just an air cannon with a lighter and some extra steps),

and revealing a hidden message encased in baking soda and water with some solution (couldn't hear exactly what it was).

(the hidden message was "KNOWLEDGE UNLOCK NEW DOORS" (sic), btw, but you don't care about that, do you)

don't know how to feel about all of that.

...this sounds like a couple things I was involved in when I was in elementary school 35-40 years ago. I don't recall any of these events in public spaces after that, though - not sure if it was a cultural change that pushed these out of public spaces or something else.
