Chaosman is pure chaos, and the story is no exception. The story is absolutely non-linear and anyone would fail miserably trying to predict what's going to happen next week. That's why we love CSM.

1. I feel that Denji is already getting over the death of Nayuta. We should not forget that his way of feeling emotions has fundamentally changed since his heart got a devilish nature.
2. No one mentioned that the aging devil and the decrepit old man chair went through Denji's mouth?

The only thing I'd add is that I think Octopus swallows Aging and Chainsawman rather than traps them. There's a "gulp" sound effect when Octo-head appears.

I initially also thought that Octopus had swallowed them, but the tentacles looked weird for a stomach and then I noticed that under its head it has a lot of big tentacles, so they were probably trapped under there.
But now that you mention it, since it doesn't have much of a body, maybe swallowing them just takes them between the tentacles.
Also, if you're talking about the "Blegh" in this chapter, I think that might have been CSM.

it feels anticlimactic because the climax lasted several chapters lol. needed to go back and reread the last few chapters to get a better sense of everything.

I think we are about to see some crazy stuff. How is denji going to rebuild his life? what is denji going to do? Will this be the homeless denji arc? will he move in with cicida man? Are we going to see teenage marriage arc where famine or war tricks denji into marrying them?

Nothing i can say will be as crazy as what fujimoto pulls out. Dude ate a pet fish that died and lied to his GF because he could not bury it.

Also (and this has nothing to do with the quoted post; just the thread in general), I'm a little surprised at how many people are saying this chapter was confusing or anticlimactic. I unironically feel like everything makes sense and this was a great way to cap things off. Was it the sudden scene shift? Because I thought that was fun and humorous.

Seriously, it's like people forgot they're reading a Fujimoto story. Besides, the previous two primordial fears were dispatched with roundabout means (escaped from Darkness, messed up Falling's plans) so it stands to reason that Aging would be dealt with in a roundabout way too.
