I just realized something ... how does this not count as CSM eating aging?

If I had to guess, this was more like being "pulled into the stomach" rather than "eaten", which could imply that CSM needs to consciously eat a devil to actually erase it. By the same token, I'm pretty sure Denji has thrown up before(??) but didn't vomit up devils because he wasn't trying to do it on purpose

the last panels obscure it on purpose, but i am really curious if Asa\Yoru managed to retain her new arms. i wonder if the USA and the ussr be super, SUPER mad about that... maybe that's the crux of the story going forward

It's not in his stomach is it. Other devils are fine once they're out of his stomach too. Maybe he could have eaten it, but Pochita seemed hell bent not to for a while now, so why would he.

I don't get the point of those children. If Aging wanted to be eaten, all it had to do was fight Pochita and pretend to lose. Bringing those kids into it seemed to make Pochita not want to eat it, yet Aging made sure Pochita knew they would be aacrificed. Was it about corrupting Chainsawman somehow?

People hoping Nayuta can be brought back (by whatever means including "it was a clone") are forgetting that it would invalidate the arc Denji went through while in the aging devil's world where he says he's accepted not caring about anyone except himself anymore which is kind of what Pochita was pushing for him to do anyway (Pochita in Denji's mind reminded him about wanting to get a girlfriend/get laid and how Denji hasn't been doing much of anything for himself anymore).

Nayuta being back would just revert Denji into the big brother role with Nayuta holding the reigns and preventing him from self actualizing like he promised Pochita he would. Nayuta is essentially just a more tame Makima, she's still the Control Devil after all. Her entire being is controlling Denji albeit in a more subtle way than Makima did.

Nayuta needs to stay dead in order for Denji to progress as a character. Where that progression will lead him remains to be seen and it could very well have him ending up in a worse position than before but it's still an arc he needs to go through otherwise he'll just keep being the same boring flat character he's been for a lot of part 2.
