Actually, after seeing some theories, I'm convinced that Pochita is neither the Chainsaw Devil, nor was he alive until this panel. Pochita is the Hope (Devil?).
I'm more the demon of oblivion/forgetfulness theory.
I think both could be true. It's reasonable to expect chainsaws to have a devil, as they are obviously scary to humans. It's also unlikely there's a different chainsaw devil running around unrelated to Pochita. So I'd say most likely Pochita is the chainsaw devil, but he's also more than that. Whether that has to do with the hints of Pochita's divine/angelic nature, his connection to the hybrids (even without Denji, Pochita has the body of a hybrid, with his weapon sticking out of his forehead and arms), or another use for chainsaw forgotten because Pochita ate something, I have no idea.
It implies a divine origin for Pochita. No info beyond that but would be silly to ignore what it implies, I guess. Keep in mind there was a literal Angel devil and he didn't GAF about Pochita.
Yes. So same same, but different. Like a lot of things in that ending. Like they're essentially reboots/reincarnations. Power also likes to lie a lot.
Yes. Although nowhere does it actually say that's Nayuta. Makes sense a new incarnation of Control would look like Nayuta, so who knows.

They're the uber-devils. Death also remembered. They're just strong, I doubt it goes beyond that. Also Makima did say she's starting to forget IIRC. And Yoru did forget about nuccular weapons.
Fire Punch had a better ending than this, lol.
I'd argue Fire Punch did continued the established premise well to the end; the many shape of vengeance and the slow lurch of dying world. CSM part 2 had interesting mirror to Denji and Pochita with Asa and Yoru, then many subplots were created along the way and many never really dealt with, at most those collide with each other and maybe some were resolved. I'd say it's the last Denji vs War that just keep going in circles while repeating the same theme from previous arcs.
I'd like to build on this and point out that Denji wishes he had a dog because he doesn't have Pochita, then Power claims he smells like a dog, and that Makima would ID humans by their smell. Why does Denji smell like a dog when he doesn't have one? It's pochita. Power is smelling pochita.
