as for the movies thing i think that the convo with kobeni has made denji realize problems are a part of life; a world without "uninteresting" movies parallels makima's desire to use chainsawman to get rid of the unseemly things in the world, violence, war, hunger. however what maybe denjis come to see and what i personally also believe is that there are no "interesting" movies without "uninteresting" ones, no happy times without sad etc. this relates back i think to the inherent happiness and sadness that comes with being alive, having a normal life. both celebrating and suffering the consequences of your actions, making mistakes and having success. in makima engineering his life, she's removed his ability to enjoy any of it, good or bad, because none of those events are because of decisions he's made. he's been effectively manipulated by her at every turn.
you can think back to their earlier movie date. for makima, one good movie makes the whole day of watching bad movies worth it. now im a little less linear here wherein that coincides with the viewpoint im arguing she has right now (in their date, her language doesn't seem to imply that she needed bad movies to make the last movie enjoyable, rather that it was so enjoyable it was ok she saw those bad movies--not necessarily that it warranted the bad movies' existence), but it is still an obvious parallel to this conversation rn and to denji's perspective that bad films are just apart of life, as are bad things in life
