what are you waffling about? The last time mc was outed as being gay he ended up being humiliated and ridiculed by his entire school. it got so bad that he decided to go to a high school as far as possible from his old schools so that nobody would know him. so ofc he'd be terrified that if people find out then itll just happen agian.

damn, I understand that it's most likely intended to be broken, but I feel bad about the premise. It feels way more conservative than most GB stories, which already often rely on a conservative premise of feminine boys becoming girl, but having a gay character forcing themselves to be a woman just to fit in the roles of heteronormativity sucks and I hope he can be himself in his desired relationship by the end of the story
