Honestly? From the titles I was reading that got axed this one is reaaaaaaaly normal ending. Sure, this "and they lived happily ever after" panel sure makes you feel that way, but overall the story ended at a clear finite point, there aren't any situations where half the plot lines are left hanging without any resolution, or where new ones suddenly pop up on the last few pages which used to happen quite often in mangas around this mid-ish score. This title handled its ending surprisingly well or at least it didn’t drag the story out artificially, eventually turning into a caricature of itself by coming up with increasingly far-fetched scenarios just to milk the title and boost view counts. And there have been plenty of titles like that already. Thanks for translating it till the end! Feels like a rather abrupt ending though. Almost like...an axe...
In term of a manga / LN, yeah, the story isn't the best. But as a gamer, I kinda saw how the author set up everything: MC betrayed by humanity, adopted into Demon rank, assisted the strongest demon lord to wipe out all of her enemies, ending with a final boss fight against a demi-human hero that switched side to humanity.meh.. this had some good moments, but when the "hero team" failt their attack on the dungeon, my expectations dropped hard already. the author made all those arcs feel rarely connected so it was just one situation after another.
