Maybe actually, it was a odd dart, perhaps it was the poison itself crystalized, or was designed to shatter into tiny pieces. Ether way poison was in his body and by all rights would still be in him if it didn't get erased, which it must have otherwise he would just repeatedly die. If the dart was fully imbedded in his neck then it would also need to erase or eject it to bring him back at full health, so most likely it was erased.

not the brightest assassin around... cant find the target so he just decides to kill some random dude he finds sitting in her bedroom instead, as if they would not be concerned over finding one of her vissitors trusted enough to be in her bedroom late at night dead on the floor, and they really have no concerns over their queens safety with how easy it was for this assassin to climb up to her bedroom window and open it from the outside then run away without being spoted by a single person, and the view of her window is just some random street in the city that seemingly go all the way up to the wall, bet theres a window on street level thats just as easy to open from the outside as the one to the queens bedroom...
